JACK HADLEY MUSIC
Official Jack Hadley Music discography — alternative & indie rock from South Bay Los Angeles. Afterthought, Hold It By Myself, Bright Out, Dusk, and more.
ABOUT THE SONG
Fast-paced, interlocking guitars, with an almost anxious instrumental & vocal delivery contribute to an energetic, but nuanced project. Written about making a leap from a comfortable situation and not being able to relate to those on a different path. Despite the defiant lyrical motifs, the upbeat instrumentals provide an uplifting juxtaposition throughout the listening experience. Home-recorded and produced in garage in Redondo Beach. Instagram/TikTok pre & post release campaign to push to new audiences; small live acoustic sets around South LA to continue to build local footprint.
ABOUT THE SONG
Warm, jangly indie rock — interlocking guitars, punchy bass, and raspy vocals each vying for attention, yet working in unison. Simple, almost intentionally detached delivery, but with a layered, welcoming groove. Written about resisting reinvention until you can't anymore, along with the discomfort that comes with reflecting on your mistakes. Recorded in a South Bay garage studio. TikTok/Instagram pre-save campaign targeting Strokes and Backseat Lovers fans.
