Written about making a leap from a comfortable situation and not being able to relate to those on a different path. Despite the defiant lyrical motifs, the upbeat instrumentals provide an uplifting juxtaposition throughout the listening experience. Home-recorded and produced in garage in Redondo Beach. Written about resisting reinvention until you can't anymore, along with the discomfort that comes with reflecting on your mistakes. Recorded in a South Bay garage studio.
